Job summary

KISWOK in Howrah, West Bengal, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment and to troubleshoot faults in CNC machines, VMCs, PLCs, motors, control panels, sensors, and drives.

The role requires installing, repairing, and maintaining wiring, switchgear, MCC panels, and lighting systems, plus reading electrical drawings and control circuits.

Qualifications

• ITI Electrician or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in CNC machines, VMCs, PLCs, motors, control panels, sensors, and drives.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, switchgear, MCC panels, and lighting systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuits.
• Perform routine inspection of electrical equipment to prevent failures.
• Ensure proper functioning of VFDs, PLCs, HMI, sensors, contactors, relays, and motors.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety procedures, and statutory compliance.
