Job summary

Trs Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Site Engineer in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. The role requires a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years of hands-on experience in electrical installations for solar projects.

• Ensure project progress and issues are communicated to client and higher authorities.
• Manage end-to-end installation work ready for testing and commissioning.

Job Description

• Perform field quality inspections, materials inspections, and raise Requests for Inspection (RFI). Ensure non-conformities (NC) are addressed as per client requirements, and close NC issues with proper documentation.
• Prepare daily inspection reports, PowerPoint presentations, quality assurance documents, NC log sheets, and other related reports on a daily basis.
• Monitoring & Supervision Complete monitoring and supervision of the installation of electrical equipment including HT panels, inverters, transformers, etc.
• Oversee the installation of SCADA systems, streetlights, CCTV, lightning arresters, weather monitoring systems, AC/DC power and control cabling in solar power plants.
• Execute projects efficiently, detect problems, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Make modifications as per site Operations & Maintenance (O&M) requirements.
• Maintain proper communication with the client and higher authorities regarding project progress and issues.
• Oversee HT/LT/DC cable lying, glanding, lugging, and termination.
• Supervise the installation and termination of panels, circuit breakers, CTs, PTs, and isolators.
• Ensure accurate documentation and records maintenance.
• Prepare for and manage end-to-end installation work ready for testing and commissioning of solar projects at the site. Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Manage the erection of power transformers, CTs, PTs, lightning arresters, and line bus isolators.

Qualification and Educational Requirements

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certifications in related fields

Experience

• Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in electrical installations and supervision, preferably in solar power projects.
