Survey & Designer (Ground Mounted Solar Park) to develop accurate, safe, technically feasible MW-scale plant designs. Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Trained in PVsyst, AutoCAD, SolidWorks ETAP, utility-scale ground mounted solar design, substations, power evacuation, or grid connectivity.
• Min 5 years of experience in utility-scale ground mounted solar design, open-access solar projects, solar parks, EPC engineering, substations, or power-evacuation systems.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements, land surveys, topographical reports, solar-resource data, client specifications, and grid-connectivity details.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed solar plant layouts covering module tables, inverter stations, transformers, internal roads, control rooms, drainage, and pooling-substation interfaces.
• Perform DC and AC system sizing, module and inverter selection, string sizing, cable sizing, voltage-drop calculations, and equipment selection.
• Prepare Design Basis Reports, Single Line Diagrams, string layouts, cable-routing plans, earthing layouts, lightning-protection drawings, and auxiliary-power arrangements.
• Conduct shadow analysis, loss assessment, performance-ratio calculations, and energy-yield simulations using PVsyst or similar software.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, Bills of Materials, technical specifications, equipment datasheets, design calculations, and Good for Construction drawings.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, procurement, project, regulatory, and execution teams for design finalisation and approvals.
• Review vendor drawings, technical submissions, equipment datasheets, and Guaranteed Technical Particulars.
• Ensure compliance with applicable CEA regulations, grid codes, IS/IEC standards, STU requirements, electrical-safety norms, and project specifications.
• Provide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning, grid synchronisation, and preparation of as-built drawings.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, calculations, design revisions, approvals, and project documents.

The Sr. Survey & Designer (Ground Mounted Solar Park) Projects is responsible for preparing accurate, safe, technically feasible, and cost-effective designs for MW-scale ground mounted solar power plants. Qualifications

• Primary Education: B.E. or B.Tech preferred in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Electronics, or a related field.
• Certifications: Trained in PVsyst, AutoCAD, SolidWorks ETAP, utility-scale ground mounted solar design, substations, power evacuation, or grid connectivity
• Experience: Min 5 years of experience in utility-scale ground mounted solar design, open-access solar projects, solar parks, EPC engineering, substations, or power-evacuation systems.

• Strong understanding of MW-scale ground mounted solar power plants, modules, inverters, transformers, HT systems, substations, metering, protection, and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of plant layouts, DC and AC sizing, string sizing, cable sizing, voltage-drop calculations, earthing, lightning protection, and energy-yield assessment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SoildWork,  PVsyst, with working knowledge of ETAP, SketchUp, QGIS, Google Earth, or similar engineering software.
• Ability to prepare Design Basis Reports, Single Line Diagrams, BOQs, BOMs, cable schedules, technical specifications, and GFC drawings.
• Understanding of CEA regulations, IS/IEC standards, grid-connectivity requirements, and electrical-safety practices.
• Strong analytical ability, technical coordination, documentation, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple project designs, meet deadlines, travel to project locations, and support execution teams.
