Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an Electrical Services Design Engineer to lead tender and detailed design for complex railway, metro, and tunnel projects. The role requires ELV system expertise (CCTV, PAVA, access control, BMS, SCADA), SLD and equipment layouts per NBC/IS/IEC, and proficiency in ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD and MS Office.

You will perform load flow and fault studies, prepare DBR, technical specs, BOQ and RFQ, and ensure designs meet NBC/CEIG/IEC/IS across national and international

Qualifications

• Experience of tender and detailed design of Electrical and ELV services for rail, metro and tunnel projects.
• Proficient in preparing SLD and equipment layouts per NBC/CEIG/IEC/IS.
• Load flow, fault, voltage drop and lighting calculations for complex projects.
• Proficient in ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD and MS Office suite.

Job Summary

Responsible for the tender and detailed design of Electrical Services for various projects

Responsibilities

• Experience of Tender and detailed design of Electrical and ELV services, especially in complex functional requirements viz, Railway, Metros and Tunnel projects for above ground and underground, etc.
• Candidate must have skills in detail design for green field and brown field project.
• Candidate must have experience in Electrical & ELV Detail design, electrical & ELV calculations for diversified projects like Railways, Metros and Tunnel Projects etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical design software's like ETAP, Dia lux, AutoCad and other software's like Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ELV system design like FDA, CCTV, PAVA, Access control, BMS, SCADA, Station Management system, Parking system, Active and passive networking, ICT, TMRS, Train display system, Security system, etc.
• Should be able to prepare SLD, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity rule/ GRIHA/ IGBC/IEC/IS.
• Should be able to prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, earthing layout, Load list with load balancing, fault calculation, voltage drop calculation, lux calculation, LPS design, cable routing, lighting, and power layout drawing, etc.
• Preparation of Electrical detail GFC design independently as per project requirements and adhering to various codes (national and international).
• Preparation of DBR, technical specification, BOQ, RFQ, make list, etc.
• Able to perform Load flow analysis, discrimination study, arc flash study, relay setting on ETAP or equivalent software.
