Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a qualified Electrical Design Engineer to lead tender and detailed design for Electrical Services across India. You will develop SLDs and equipment layouts, ensuring compliance with NBC/CEIG/Electricity Rules and related codes.

The role requires hands-on experience with ETAP, DiaLux, AutoCAD, and BIM/Revit to produce accurate layouts, cable routing, load distribution, and testing strategies. Strong communication and coordination with project teams are essential.

• Experience in tender and detailed design of electrical services for complex projects.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and BIM/Revit collaboration.
• Ability to prepare SLD, equipment layouts, load balancing, and cable routing.

Responsibilities

• Tender and detailed design of Electrical services for projects across India.
• Prepare SLDs, equipment layouts per NBC/CEIG/Electricity Rules/GRIHA/IGBC/IEC/IS.
• Develop detailed layouts for cable trays, earthing, load lists, and lighting/power layouts.
• Perform load flow, discrimination, and arc flash studies; set relays using ETAP or equivalent.
• Create BIM/Revit models with BIM/Revit modeler and review testing/commissioning methods.

Job Summary

Responsible for the tender and detailed design of Electrical Services for various projects across India

Responsibilities

• Tender and detailed design of Electrical services, especially in complex functional requirements viz, Data Centers, Airports, Industrial, residential and commercial projects, etc.
• Skills in detail design for green field and brown field project.
• Experience in Electrical Detail design, electrical calculations for diversified projects like Data center, Residential and commercial buildings, etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical design software like ETAP, DiaLux, AutoCAD and other software like Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Should be able to prepare SLD, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity Rules/GRIHA/IGBC/IEC/IS.
• Should be able to prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, earthing layout, Load list with load balancing, fault calculation, voltage drop calculation, lux calculation, LPS design, cable routing, lighting, and power layout drawing, etc.
• Able to perform Load flow analysis, discrimination study, arc flash study, relay setting on ETAP or equivalent software.
• Able to perform lux calculation on DiaLux or equivalent software.
• Able to develop detail design on BIM/Revit with the help of BIM/Revit modeler.
• Undertake a prior review of the proposed electrical system testing and commissioning methods and schedule.
