Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to lead tender and detailed design for Electrical services across India. You will prepare SLDs, equipment layouts, and load calculations, with hands-on use of ETAP, DiaLux, AutoCAD and BIM/Revit.

The role involves cross-disciplinary coordination for data centers, airports and large-scale buildings. Candidates should have strong proficiency in electrical analysis, code compliance, and BIM-driven design workflows; prior experience with NBC/IS

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical detail design for complex projects such as data centers, airports, industrial, residential and commercial sectors.
• Proficiency in electrical design deliverables like SLDs, equipment layouts and load balancing.
• Ability to perform load flow, short-circuit and arc flash analyses with ETAP or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Tender and detailed design of Electrical services for various projects across India.
• Prepare SLD, Equipment Layout per NBC/CEIG/Electricity Rules/GRIHA/IGBC/IEC/IS.
• Develop detailed layout drawings for cable trays, earthing, load lists, voltage drop, and lighting/power layouts.
• Perform load flow analysis, discrimination study, and arc flash studies; set relays using ETAP or equivalent.
• Develop BIM/Revit models and review electrical testing and commissioning methods.

Job Summary

Responsible for the tender and detailed design of Electrical Services for various projects across India

Responsibilities

• Tender and detailed design of Electrical services, especially in complex functional requirements viz, Data Centers, Airports, Industrial, residential and commercial projects, etc.
• Skills in detail design for green field and brown field project.
• Experience in Electrical Detail design, electrical calculations for diversified projects like Data center, Residential and commercial buildings, etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical design software like ETAP, DiaLux, AutoCAD and other software like Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Should be able to prepare SLD, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity Rules/GRIHA/IGBC/IEC/IS.
• Should be able to prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, earthing layout, Load list with load balancing, fault calculation, voltage drop calculation, lux calculation, LPS design, cable routing, lighting, and power layout drawing, etc.
• Able to perform Load flow analysis, discrimination study, arc flash study, relay setting on ETAP or equivalent software.
• Able to perform lux calculation on DiaLux or equivalent software.
• Able to develop detail design on BIM/Revit with the help of BIM/Revit modeler.
• Undertake a prior review of the proposed electrical system testing and commissioning methods and schedule.
