Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an experienced electrical engineer for tender and detailed design of Electrical and ELV services across complex railway, metro, and tunnel projects. The role requires proficiency with ETAP, Dialux and AutoCAD, and the ability to prepare SLDs and layout drawings per applicable codes.

You will develop DBRs, technical specs, BOQs, RFQs and perform load flow or arc-flash analyses as part of detailed design work.

Qualifications

• Tender and detailed design experience for Electrical and ELV services.
• Experience in rail, metro and tunnel projects.
• Proficient in Electrical & ELV design software (ETAP, Dia lux, AutoCAD).
• Familiar with NBC/CEIG/Electricity rules/ GRIHA/ IGBC/IEC/IS for SLD and equipment layouts.
• Experience in load flow, fault calculation, voltage drop, luminaire calculations.
• Experience in DBR, technical specs, BOQ, RFQ preparation.
• Strong documentation and coordination skills.

Job Summary

Responsible for the tender and detailed design of Electrical Services for various projects

Responsibilities

• Experience of Tender and detailed design of Electrical and ELV services, especially in complex functional requirements viz, Railway, Metros and Tunnel projects for above ground and underground, etc.
• Candidate must have skills in detail design for green field and brown field project.
• Candidate must have experience in Electrical & ELV Detail design, electrical & ELV calculations for diversified projects like Railways, Metros and Tunnel Projects etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical design software's like ETAP, Dia lux, AutoCad and other software's like Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ELV system design like FDA, CCTV, PAVA, Access control, BMS, SCADA, Station Management system, Parking system, Active and passive networking, ICT, TMRS, Train display system, Security system, etc.
• Should be able to prepare SLD, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity rule/ GRIHA/ IGBC/IEC/IS.
• Should be able to prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, earthing layout, Load list with load balancing, fault calculation, voltage drop calculation, lux calculation, LPS design, cable routing, lighting, and power layout drawing, etc.
• Preparation of Electrical detail GFC design independently as per project requirements and adhering to various codes (national and international).
• Preparation of DBR, technical specification, BOQ, RFQ, make list, etc.
• Able to perform Load flow analysis, discrimination study, arc flash study, relay setting on ETAP or equivalent software.
