Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Indore is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead tendering and detailed design for varied Indian projects. You will prepare SLDs and equipment layouts, perform load calculations, and ensure compliance with NBC and IS standards.

Proficiency in ETAP, DiaLux, AutoCAD and BIM/Revit is essential, along with the ability to develop detailed layouts for cable trays, earthing, lighting and power. You will also support testing/commissioning planning.

Qualifications

• Experience in tender and detailed electrical design for multiple project types.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (ETAP, DiaLux, AutoCAD) and BIM/Revit.
• Ability to prepare SLD, equipment layouts, and load calculations as per standards.

Responsibilities

• Tender and detailed design of electrical services for diverse projects in India.
• Develop SLDs, equipment layouts, cable routing, and load balancing layouts.
• Perform load flow, arc flash, and voltage drop calculations using ETAP/DiaLux.
• Create BIM/Revit models and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Review testing and commissioning methods and schedules.

Job Summary

Responsible for the tender and detailed design of Electrical Services for various projects across India

Responsibilities

• Tender and detailed design of Electrical services, especially in complex functional requirements viz, Data Centers, Airports, Industrial, residential and commercial projects, etc.
• Skills in detail design for green field and brown field project.
• Experience in Electrical Detail design, electrical calculations for diversified projects like Data center, Residential and commercial buildings, etc.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Electrical design software like ETAP, DiaLux, AutoCAD and other software like Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Should be able to prepare SLD, Equipment Layout as per NBC/CEIG/Electricity Rules/GRIHA/IGBC/IEC/IS.
• Should be able to prepare detail layout drawings for cable tray, earthing layout, Load list with load balancing, fault calculation, voltage drop calculation, lux calculation, LPS design, cable routing, lighting, and power layout drawing, etc.
• Able to perform Load flow analysis, discrimination study, arc flash study, relay setting on ETAP or equivalent software.
• Able to perform lux calculation on DiaLux or equivalent software.
• Able to develop detail design on BIM/Revit with the help of BIM/Revit modeler.
• Undertake a prior review of the proposed electrical system testing and commissioning methods and schedule.
