Job summary

Bestal Hr is seeking a maintenance professional to oversee building safety and MEP systems in Ahmedabad. Responsibilities include monitoring fire safety equipment, performing daily checks on electrical systems, and ensuring preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and safety devices.

The role also involves refilling and inspecting fire extinguishers, maintaining temperature controls, and assisting in vendor identification for civil and electrical works.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Building Safety: Monitor and maintain fire alarm panels, extinguishers, sprinklers, hydrant systems, and electrical systems.
• Daily Checks: Perform daily checks on UPS/batteries, safety equipment, and electrical systems to ensure proper function.
• Fire Extinguisher Maintenance: Refill extinguishers per SOPs and keep them in good condition.
• MEP Services: Check and maintain all MEP services per standards.
• Temperature Control: Check and maintain temperature across areas per SOPs.
• Maintenance Tool Management: Ensure tools are in good condition and accessible.
• Plumbing and Drainage: Check leaks and blockages in washrooms/kitchen drains and ensure valves work.
• Kitchen Equipment Maintenance: Maintain kitchen equipment for optimal operation.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, safety, HVAC, kitchen equipment, RO systems, and fixtures per PPM chart.
• Vendor Identification: Assist supervisor in identifying local vendors for Fire Safety, Electrical, Plumbing, and Civil works.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain Building Safety: Monitor and maintain building safety systems, including fire alarm panels, extinguishers, sprinklers, fire hydrant systems, and electrical systems, at defined frequencies.
• Daily Checks: Perform daily checks on UPS/batteries, safety equipment, and electrical systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Fire Extinguisher Maintenance: Refill fire extinguishers as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure they are in good working condition.
• MEP Services: Check and maintain all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services according to standards.
• Temperature Control: Check and maintain the temperature of all areas and equipment as per SOPs.
• Maintenance Tool Management: Ensure all maintenance tools are in good condition and easily accessible.
• Plumbing and Drainage: Check and rectify leakage and blockage problems in drain and plumbing lines in washrooms and kitchen areas, and ensure all valves are in operational condition.
• Kitchen Equipment Maintenance: Check and maintain/rectify kitchen equipment to ensure they are in the best operational condition.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on all electrical systems, safety equipment, HVAC systems, kitchen equipment, RO systems, furniture, and fixtures as per the Preventive Maintenance (PPM) chart.
• Vendor Identification: Support the supervisor in identifying local vendors related to Fire Safety, Electrical, Plumbing, and Civil works.
