Job summary

Skyroot Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and hands-on experience in industrial/aerospace machinery maintenance. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, work with PLC-based automation, and ensure reliable machine operations in a hazardous but innovative aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include preventive and predictive maintenance, PLC programming, HMI, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in machinery maintenance is expected.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi).
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control panels, sensors, drives, and automation systems.
• Work on PLC programming, HMI, and control logic optimization.
• Handle systems operating on 24V DC, 110V & 230V AC.
• Maintain and support equipment like CNC machines, autoclaves, ovens, and test systems.
• Coordinate with production/mechanical teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain proper documentation including preventive maintenance schedules and ISO records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machinery
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control panels, sensors, drives, and automation systems
• Work on PLC programming, HMI, and control logic optimization
• Handle systems operating on 24V DC, 110V & 230V AC
• Maintain and support equipment like CNC machines, autoclaves, ovens, and test systems
• Coordinate with production/mechanical teams to minimize downtime
• Maintain proper documentation including preventive maintenance schedules, checklists, and ISO audit records
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience in machinery maintenance
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi)
• Experience in electrical panels, wiring, and circuit troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments
• Exposure to VFDs, servo drives, safety systems, and industrial protocols
• Knowledge of machine safety and EHS practices
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems
