Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential).
• Master's in Renewable Energy or related field (preferred).
• 8+ years in renewable energy engineering.
• Knowledge of solar power plant design (DC/AC) and IS/IEC/IEEE/CEA/CERC/MNRE standards.
• Experience in electrical system studies and detailed engineering for utility-scale renewable projects.
• PVsyst or SAM proficiency.
• Excellent written and spoken English; report writing and presentations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and detailed engineering for solar PV, wind, hybrid, and storage projects.
• Develop general arrangement layouts, cable routing, earthing, lightning protection, and inverter station designs.
• Perform electrical calculations and studies: cable sizing, battery sizing, short circuit, load flow, relay coordination.
• Support pre-bid engineering and Owner's/Lender's Engineering by reviewing documents for standards.
• Prepare techno-commercial feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports, energy yield assessments using PVsyst and SAM.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across geographies to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Progress toward independent project management after mentoring.

Manager / Sr. Manager Electrical – Renewable Energy

This role puts you at the heart of sustainable energy development. You will design, review, and deliver electrical engineering solutions for utility-scale solar, wind, hybrid, and storage projects — contributing directly to a cleaner energy future for millions.

What You'll Do

• Lead electrical design and detailed engineering for solar PV, wind, hybrid, and energy storage projects across national and international markets.
• Develop general arrangement layouts, cable routing, earthing systems, lightning protection, and inverter station designs for large‑scale PV plants.
• Perform electrical calculations and system studies including cable sizing, battery sizing, short circuit analysis, load flow, and relay coordination.
• Support pre‑bid engineering, Owner's Engineering, and Lender's Engineering by reviewing design documents and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Prepare techno‑commercial feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports, resource assessments, and energy yield assessments using tools such as PVsyst and SAM.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across geographies to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Progress toward independent project management responsibility after an initial mentoring period.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (essential); Master's in Energy Studies, Renewable Energy, or related field (preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in renewable energy engineering, preferably within a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of solar power plant design on both DC and AC sides, including relevant IS, IEC, IEEE, CEA, CERC, and MNRE standards.
• Proven experience in electrical system studies and detailed engineering deliverables for utility‑scale renewable projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and energy simulation software such as PVsyst or SAM.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to write technical reports and present findings clearly.
• Strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and willingness to travel to project sites.
