Job summary

Captain Polyplast seeks an Electrical Engineer specialising in Moulding and Extruder machines to oversee comprehensive electrical maintenance and drive system optimization. The role requires hands-on fault-finding across extrusion/injection moulding lines, PLCs, HMIs, and motor drives, with a focus on reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and utilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in Extrusion and Injection Molding machines, PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC Drives (VFDs), Servo Drives, motors, and control panels.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo Drives, and Soft Starters.
• Maintain transformers, DG sets, HT/LT panels, MCC/PCC panels, APFC panels, UPS systems, compressors, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, and EOT cranes.
• Execute PLC/HMI programming and modifications (Siemens, Omron, Delta).
• Plan and complete preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Coordinate with Production to minimize machine downtime.
