Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Mumbai is seeking a process engineer to perform simulation studies, develop Heat & Mass Balance sheets and size equipment, lines and instruments. You will prepare PFDs and P&IDs and datasheets, estimate power loads and create engineering documents and reports.

You will also prepare operating manuals, SAFE charts and hydraulics calculations for network lines, while providing engineering support to Lead Engineers to ensure quality deliverables before issue.

Qualifications

• Experience in process engineering tasks such as simulations and mass/heat balance.
• Ability to size equipment, lines and instruments and prepare PFDs/P&IDs.
• Proficiency in preparing datasheets and performing hydraulic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulation studies and develop Heat & Mass Balance sheets.
• Size equipment, instruments and lines; prepare PFD and P&ID.
• Prepare datasheets for rotating, static and instruments; estimate power load.
• Prepare engineering documents, reports and operating manuals; create SAFE charts.
• Provide engineering support to Lead Engineers for contract execution and ensure deliverables are complete before release.
