Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is seeking engineers in Mumbai to perform simulation studies, develop heat and mass balances, and size equipment, lines, and related components. The role includes preparing PFDs, P&IDs and datasheets for rotating, static and instrument equipment.

The incumbent will also estimate power load, draft engineering documents, reports and operating manuals, and contribute to SAFE charts and other technical analyses. Trial projects and contract support are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of heat and mass balance and simulation studies.
• Experience in sizing equipment, instrument and piping lines.
• Proficiency in PFD, P&ID and datasheet preparation for rotating and static equipment.
• Ability to prepare engineering documents, reports, operating manuals and SAFE charts.

Responsibilities

• Perform simulation studies and develop heat and mass balance sheets.
• Size equipment, instruments and lines; prepare PFD and P&ID.
• Prepare datasheets for rotating equipment, static equipment and instruments; estimate power load.
• Provide engineering support to Lead Engineers for contract execution; ensure deliverables are accurate.

• To provide engineering support to Lead Engineers for contract execution. To be responsible for all the work with reference to a document/deliverables and/or activity assigned to him. To ensure that the documents/deliverables, generated, are in order before issuing it to others.
