Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking a Functional SME / Program Manager to lead a large digital transformation program in connected plants. You will manage program delivery, drive growth, and oversee MES implementations across multiple plants.

You will translate business requirements into MES capabilities, perform Fit-Gap assessments, and coordinate change management activities while working within an Agile and Industry 4.0 framework.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing domain experience with IoT delivery preferred.

Job Objective / Purpose:

• Functional SME / Program Manager for large and complex digital transformation program within Connected Plants
• Manage program delivery and drive growth and transformation

Technical/Functional Skills:

• Manufacturing domain experience. IoT delivery experience will be added advantage.
• Good understanding of business processes in one of the industries viz. Automotive, CPG, Chemical process, Hi-tech manufacturing, medical devices
• Experience in managing large and complex programs delivery. Portfolio Management for delivery is ideal for this role.
• Experience in MES implementation on any COTs tool like Apriso, Simatic IT, GE Proficy, SAP ME/MII, Rockwell etc.
• Good understanding of Production, Quality, Inventory and Maintenance capabilities required for these industries
• Prefer Good understanding of control systems automation and its integration with MES solution. Experience of integrating Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi
• Experience in translating Business requirements to functional or technical solution by mapping business processes to IT capabilities.
• Experience on Fit-Gap assessment for MES functionalities
• Knowledge on preparing impact assessment for change management
• Ability to document and do basic level troubleshooting of MES application issues.
• Familiarity with Agile framework and Industry 4.0
• Good analytical skills
• Should have done requirements gathering and documentation for requirement traceability matrix
• Experience on functional design and design specification documentation for MES implementation
• Should have been part of testing/validation exercise in creating test script for SIT/UAT and functional validation
• Prefer integration experience of SAP, PLM & shop floor devices like DC tools, Scanners, Printers, lab instruments
• Experience on OPC tools like Kepware etc.
• Knowledge on basic queries with SQL/Oracle
