Work with customers to tailor MES solutions for their requirements across MES Greenfield, Brownfield, and modernization engagements.
Advise customers on their MES transformation roadmap, aligning with business priorities.
Collaborate with the CoE team to execute transformation assessments, product selection workshops, and current state evaluations for customers.
Understand detailed manufacturing process steps, products, and resources to propose optimal MES configurations.
Provide functional and technical expertise to pre-sales and sales teams to position manufacturing IT services to TCS customers in the mentioned domains.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer business processes in stages like requirement gathering, design, and validation.
Conduct proactive research and analysis of latest innovations in the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing domains.
Collaborate with CoE to identify process improvement opportunities using MES systems.
Assist CoE in creating functional and domain assets, case studies, and offerings for different customer segments.
The role requires occasional travel for consulting engagements, workshops, and customer site visits.
The candidate is expected to support pre-sales and sales teams for approximately 25% of the time in opportunity pursuits.
Profile Requirements:
At least 5+ years of experience in MES products such as Siemens Opcenter, Critical Manufacturing, Applied Materials FAB300/PROMIS, IBM SiView is mandatory.
B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related core industrial streams.
B.Tech + MBA with relevant experience may be considered.
Understanding of electronics/semiconductor manufacturing domain is an advantage.
Knowledge of other MES and manufacturing systems is an advantage.
Experience supporting RFPs/RFQs is an advantage.
Strong communication skills are essential as this is a customer-facing role.
Must be a strong individual contributor with minimal dependency.
