Job summary

SANVIN group in Navi Mumbai seeks an Environment, Health and Safety professional to develop SOPs, plan emergencies, monitor air quality, and ensure MPCB compliance at the factory.

You will lead safety training, form the Safety Committee, and manage ETP/ZLD operations, while preparing daily/monthly safety and compliance reports for management.

Ideal candidates should have hands-on factory EHS experience and knowledge of hazardous waste handling and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating SOPs for environment, health and safety.
• Knowledge of factory act compliance and MPCB norms.
• Ability to conduct safety training and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Environment, Health & Safety SOPs.
• Prepare Emergency Preparedness Plan for factory and ensure execution.
• Conduct surveys to identify unsafe acts and conditions and file safety reports.
• Initiate toolbox talks with new SOP formats.
• Conduct mock drills to test emergency readiness.
• Plan and deliver monthly safety training programs.
• Form Safety Committee per Factory Act 1948 and HSE policy.
• Hold quarterly safety committee meetings.
• Oversee ETP operations, lab analysis, and prepare SOPs/reports.
• Monitor air quality and maintain norms; report to MPCB Form 4 & 5.
• Maintain accident records; compile daily/monthly consumption reports.
• Coordinate processes to meet daily/monthly production goals for ETP & ZLD.

Role & responsibilities

To prepare Environment,Health & Safety SOPs.

Preparation of Emergency Preparedness Plan for factory and to check its executed properly.

Conducting Survey to identify Unsafe acts,conditions and to prepare safety inspection report.

Started Tool Box Talk with new SOP and format.

Conducting Mock drills to ensure response of workers & employees towards emergency

situations.

To conduct Safety Training and educational programs every month.

Formation of Safety Committee as per Factory Act 1948 and HSE policy.

To carry out Safety committee meetings periodically(Once in a three month).

To look after ETP operations and lab analysis.

Preparation of ETP plant operation SOP,reporting format and log books.

To conduct Air quality monitoring and to maintain air quality as per norms.

Preparation of reports for Maharashtra Pollution Control Board Form No.4 & 5.

To maintain Accident record book.

Monitoring and coordinating sectional processes, evaluations and plans, and process productivity in

accordance with daily /monthly production plans of ETP & Evaporation plant(ZLD)

To plan and manage the day to day allocation of resources, equipments, people, materials, and

system in order to achieve performance target sufficiently, safely and cost effectively at ETP &

Evaporation plant (ZLD) as per MPCB Norms and ensuring smooth running and resolving

operational issues.

Preparation of daily, monthly information reports of some specific consumption.

Responsible for Hazardous waste disposal and submission of Form No 10 (Manifest) to State pollution board.
