Job summary

Kirloskar Corrocoat in Maharashtra, India, is seeking an EHS professional to manage daily health and safety activities at our plant and site. The role focuses on implementing safety programs, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance to ensure a safe working environment.

You will support safety supervision, prepare compliance documentation for authorities, and contribute to sustainability reporting and internal audits as part of our ongoing safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) at industrial plants.
• Knowledge of Factory Act and environmental compliance is required.
• Experience with safety training and incident investigation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day to day EHS related activity at Plant & Site.
• Implement safety initiatives like Sr. Management Safety Round, BBS, TBT, Safety Training.
• Support to site safety supervisor and vendor registration/documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Factory Act, annual returns, and liaise with Factory Inspector.
• MPCB compliance including report submissions and waste management.
• Maintain QMS, EMS & OH&S management systems and conduct internal audits.
• Coordinate sustainability data and audits.

Role & responsibilities

Day to day EHS related activity at Plant & Site

Safety Initiatives

• Implementation of safety initiatives like Sr. Management Safety Round, BBS, TBT, Safety Training etc. Record of incident, its investigation and deployment of corrective / preventive actions.

Support to Sites

• Support to site safety supervisor, submission of document to vendor registration, provision of safety document for gate pass.

Statutory Compliance

• Factory Act: - Ensure compliance of Factory act in factory, annual return, liasioning with Factory Inspector, compliance of lifting tools and pressure vessels, renewal of factory license etc.
• MPCB Compliance: - Quarterly consent evaluation, renewal of consent, submission of returns Form IV & V, waste disposal and generation of Form 10, environment monitoring etc.

Management System

• Maintaining, monitoring and implementation of QMS, EMS & OH&SMS related to HRM&C and Safety, facing of internal audit.

Sustainability Data

• Coordination and provision of data related to corporate sustainability initiatives, audit preparation and facing audit.

Preferred candidate profile:

Industrial experience with ADIS certification is must.
