Job summary

TRATON is seeking a software testing professional for a permanent role in Pune with a hybrid work model. You will design and execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for enterprise applications, collaborating with analysts, developers and QA teams across development and release cycles.

The candidate should have 3–6 years of experience in software testing, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies as well as test automation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Engineering.
• Experience in functional, integration, regression and system testing of enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, AzureDevOps, TestRail or similar testing tools.
• Understanding of Agile/SAFe software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of defect lifecycle management and test case design techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Experience with test automation tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Validate business requirements and ensures software quality against defined acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document and track defects through closure with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers and QA during development and release cycles.

• Validate that the Enterprise workflow application/tool development solution meets agreed business requirements and works reliably for end users and connected systems.
• Analyze user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria to identify test conditions, test data, dependencies and risks.
• Design, review and maintain manual and automated test cases for business workflows, roles, search, reporting, attachments and integrations.
• Execute functional, integration, exploratory, regression, migration and relevant non-functional tests.
• Prepare test data and maintain accurate test evidence, execution status and reusable regression suites.
• Log clear and reproducible defects with appropriate evidence; retest fixes and perform regression checks.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, developers, Product Management and user representatives during defect triage and validation.
• Support UAT, release verification, production-readiness checks and timely escalation of quality risks.
• Contribute to test automation implementation and continuous improvement of team testing practices
