We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Education Counsellor Manager to manage the counselling and admissions team, coordinate with universities and educational institutions, monitor daily employee performance, and ensure smooth end-to-end admission processing.
The candidate will be responsible for team management, university coordination, student counselling, lead follow-ups, admission conversions, and daily performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
1. University Coordination
- Coordinate with universities, colleges, and educational institutions regarding admissions, courses, eligibility, fee structures, and documentation.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with university representatives.
- Coordinate with university admission teams for application status, document verification, and offer/admission letters.
- Resolve student admission-related issues through proper coordination with universities.
- Keep the counselling team updated about new courses, university policies, deadlines, and admission requirements.
2. Team Management & Monitoring
- Manage and supervise Education Counsellors and Team Leads.
- Allocate leads to counsellors and ensure timely follow-up.
- Monitor daily employee activities, calls, follow-ups, counselling sessions, and conversions.
- Conduct daily/weekly team performance reviews.
- Motivate employees and help them achieve individual and team admission targets.
- Identify performance gaps and provide guidance, training, and support.
- Maintain discipline, accountability, and a positive working environment.
3. Lead & Follow-Up Management
- Monitor the complete lead lifecycle from enquiry to admission.
- Ensure every lead is followed up regularly and updated in the CRM/system.
- Track pending, interested, hot, cold, and converted leads.
- Review Team Lead and counsellor follow-up reports.
- Ensure no potential student enquiry is missed.
- Develop strategies to improve lead conversion rates.
4. Student Counselling & Admissions
- Guide counsellors in handling student and parent enquiries.
- Support the team in counselling students about suitable courses, universities, eligibility, fees, and career opportunities.
- Handle important or difficult student/parent discussions when required.
- Monitor the complete admission process from initial enquiry to final admission.
- Ensure proper collection and verification of required documents.
- Follow up on application submission, fee payment, verification, and admission confirmation.
5. End-to-End Admission Follow-Up
- Manage and monitor the complete admission funnel: Lead Counselling Application Documentation University Processing Offer/Confirmation Fee Payment Admission
- Ensure timely follow-ups at every stage.
- Coordinate with students, parents, counsellors, team leads, and universities.
- Maintain accurate admission records and status updates.
- Ensure admission targets are achieved within deadlines.
6. Daily Operations & Reporting
- Conduct daily team meetings and discuss targets and priorities.
- Review daily lead and admission reports.
- Track counsellor-wise and team-wise performance.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports for management.
- Monitor admission targets, conversion ratios, pending applications, and follow-ups.
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding team performance and admission progress.

Preferred Experience
- 25 years of experience in education consultancy, student counselling, admissions, or a related field.
- Prior experience managing Education Counsellors or Team Leads is preferred.
- Experience coordinating with universities/colleges will be an added advantage.
