Job summary

JITO Hyderabad is seeking a mid-level Student Counselor to guide applicants through university selection and admissions processes. You will assess student profiles, shortlist programs, and provide detailed guidance on timelines, documentation, and scholarship opportunities.

As part of the Onsite team, you will maintain CRM records, stay updated on university policies, and support students from initial inquiry to admission offers, ensuring a smooth, student-centric experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and counseling skills required.
• Experience in student counseling and university admissions is preferred.
• Knowledge of international education systems and admission requirements is advantageous.
• Ability to assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities.
• Experience using CRM systems to track student interactions is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take over qualified student cases from Student Advisers and guide students through the university selection process.
• Evaluate students' academic profiles, goals, budget, and preferences to recommend universities and programs.
• Assist students in shortlisting universities based on eligibility, criteria, scholarships, and opportunities.
• Provide detailed guidance on admission requirements, timelines, and document preparation.
• Review SOPs, LORs, resumes, and other documents for quality and completeness.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of university applications and keep students informed through admission journey.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application progress in the CRM.
• Stay updated on university policies, course offerings, scholarships, and industry trends.
