Job summary

Gruner Renewable Energy in India seeks an instrumentation engineer with 6–7 years of hands-on experience in industrial process plants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and technical expertise in control systems to support plant operations.

You will troubleshoot instrumentation and PLCs, support commissioning, and collaborate with operations to maintain field instruments, VFDs, and network communications for reliable, efficient plant performance.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and control systems in process plants.
• Proven track record in commissioning and operations of process plants.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for instrumentation, PLCs, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in process plant environments
• Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance
• Provide technical support for commissioning activities and ongoing plant operations
• Collaborate with operations teams to understand process requirements and implement effective solutions
• Troubleshoot and maintain variable frequency drives (VFDs) and soft starters
• Ensure proper functioning of field instrumentation including pressure, flow, temperature, level transmitters, and on‑off actuators
• Support integration and troubleshooting of various communication protocols within the plant network
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and efficiency

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer with 6-7 years of hands‑on experience in industrial process plants to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting capabilities, technical expertise in control systems, and a collaborative approach to supporting plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in process plant environments
• Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance
• Provide technical support for commissioning activities and ongoing plant operations
• Collaborate with operations teams to understand process requirements and implement effective solutions

• Understanding of industrial communication protocols including Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, PROFINET, and PROFIBUS
• Experience with drives systems including VFDs and soft starters
