Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Instrumentation, Control and Electrical Engineering professionals to handle basic and detailed engineering activities for industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, process engineering documents, international standards, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare instrument indexes, instrument datasheets, I/O lists, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, loop diagrams, and related engineering documents.
- Prepare automated valve lists, automated valve datasheets, solenoid valve datasheets, pressure regulating valve datasheets, and other valve documentation.
- Develop PLC/DCS system specifications, system architectures, and related documentation.
- Review and implement client specifications and project requirements.
- Interpret P&IDs, PFDs, mass balances, process descriptions, and other process documents.
- Review piping documents, including PMS, line lists, valve lists, and nozzle schedules.
- Apply relevant international standards such as ATEX, NEMA, IEC 61508, IEC 61511, and other applicable codes.
- Guide 3D modelers on instrument installation and layout requirements.
- Review and approve basic and detailed engineering deliverables.
- Review technical offers and prepare technical bid evaluations for PLC/DCS, RIO, field instruments, automated valves, control valves, SOVs, PRVs, and related systems.
- Review and approve post-order vendor documentation.
- Review and sign off PLC/DCS FAT and SAT procedures.
- Participate in HAZOP and SIL studies, including review of calculations and procedures.
- Conduct inspections of PLC/DCS panels and prepare inspection reports.
- Estimate engineering hours and ensure timely, high-quality completion of project deliverables.
- Handle complex projects involving complete basic and detailed engineering for instrumentation and control systems.
- Coordinate with vendors and support the selection of suitable instrumentation and control system components.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain an updated understanding of systems, equipment, information technology, specifications, and design practices.
