Job summary

Happilo International in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations professional to build and manage online business across Indian marketplaces. You will establish relationships with online platforms and external agencies, drive portfolio planning, pricing, content strategy, and campaigns to achieve revenue targets.

You will also oversee planning, reporting, and optimization across fulfilment, analytics, and promotions to strengthen brand presence online.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• E-Commerce specialist will be responsible for building & managing business operations for the online marketplaces of India.
• The person will build and manage relationships with external stakeholders such as online platforms & external agencies
• Expand the business to create a presence across new platforms work closely with various internal departments, including but not limited to SCM & Finance teams, to ensure seamless process implementation
• Maintain, develop and expand long-term Ecommerce relationships & achieve the targeted sales revenue and brands online presence
• Responsible for developing strategies specific to the e-comm channel for portfolio planning, pricing, product-gap analysis, competition analysis, etc.
• Responsible for managing all aspects of the e-commerce business including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, customer service and web analytics, etc.
• Develop plans, KPIs, and Goals for each eCommerce partner
• Ecommerce ad spends planning, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
• Business planning includes sales forecasting, budgeting, and value chain management along with Finance.
• Brand and product registration on new portals including compliance in keeping with platform requirements.
• Troubleshooting platform-related issues with timely follow-up.
• Sales generation from existing and new platforms including experience working with the monthly sales target.
• Supporting SEM team in processing and dispatching orders on a regular basis as well as returns management.
• Support Finance and Operations teams with monthly sales reporting and inventory reconciliation.
• Tracking implementation of SOPs and suggesting changes for optimization.

Focus areas of the role;

P&L - Commercial Development: 30%

1. 1.Formulate and execute Marketplace Strategies, align the Joint Business Plans (JBP) and deliver monthly plans for revenue growth on all the marketplaces and ensure profit targets are met.
2. 2. Consider e-retail as a separate business unit and take complete ownership of running it profitably (End to end management).

Product & Promotions: 20%

1. 1. Execute brand strategy, integrated communication and media plans to drive growth on platforms
2. 2. Monitor product sales and boosting it by using searched keywords and optimized content & regular paid - unpaid promotions
3. 3. Define the assortment strategy to establish a clear vertical differentiation vis-a-vis horizontal marketplace.
4. 4. Design & execute effective promotions strategy to push sales numbers as well as uplift visibility, mind metrics
5. 5. Work with marketing, merchandising and creative teams in our integrated planning process to deliver a cohesive shopping experience across all marketplace touch-points.

Fulfilment: Marketplace operations: 10%

1. 1. Ensure smooth daily operations of our business on all external platforms.
2. 2. Trouble shoot & resolve operational issues if any with ecommerce aggregator
3. 3. Identify high potential strategic partnerships and constantly engage with existing marketplaces and build strong relationships to drive higher preference for our brand

BI - Analytics & Reporting: 10%

1. 1. Competition monitoring and gathering market intelligence
2. 2. Detailed analysis of sales trends, funnel, conversions & all key metrics and sharing relevant insights
3. 3. Monitor performance & optimize/course correct

Budget & ROI management: 20%

1. 1. Plan & deploy the monthly budgets efficiently for each platform and track the spends effectively
2. 2. Optimize continuously to ensure high ROI & minimize CAC

Listing & Catalogue Management: 10%

1. 1. Responsible for listing new products on the marketplaces like doing regular audits to ensure that correct listing is live on the platform.
2. 2. Auditing and approving A+ Content with the help of info-graphics and Optimised SEO Rich Content

Preferences;

• Successful Candidate Profile 5-10 years of experience in developing & managing Ecommerce Operations for a branded product category
• Should be a team player & self-motivated while simultaneously guiding the team to achieve the desired results.
• Proficiency in account management/business development.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs and structuring Internal & External communications for successful deal negotiations & Senior Management Approvals
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and organize. Demonstrate high values of ownership in a dynamic and fast-paced culture.
