Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce operations, fulfilment, inventory, warehouse operations or logistics.
• Experience with Shopify and an order-management system.
• Familiarity with courier aggregators and delivery escalations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day e-commerce orders, fulfilment and dispatch.
• Coordinate with 3PL partner, warehouse and courier partners.
• Monitor delivery issues, returns and RTO shipments.
• Resolve customer delivery and fulfilment escalations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Coordinate replenishment, procurement and production requirements.
• Complete reconciliations of operations, payments and COD.
• Support marketplace onboarding and operations as the company grows.
• Visit the 3PL partner's warehouse in Bhiwandi when required.

Inside Août is looking for an E-commerce Operations Manager to take day-to-day ownership of the systems behind every order, from fulfilment and inventory to warehouse coordination and delivery. This is a hands-on role for someone who is organised, accurate and comfortable solving operational problems through to resolution. The person will work directly with the founder and coordinate closely with the company's 3PL partner, courier partners, vendors and other external stakeholders. The role requires both consistent daily execution and the ability to identify recurring problems, improve processes and create greater operational visibility as the business grows. This is initially an individual-contributor role. You will not begin with direct reports, but you will be the day-to-day owner of the function and accountable for its outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day e-commerce orders, fulfilment and dispatch.
• Coordinate with the company's 3PL partner, warehouse and courier partners.
• Monitor delivery issues, non-delivery reports, returns and return-to-origin shipments.
• Resolve customer delivery and fulfilment escalations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Coordinate replenishment, procurement and production requirements.
• Complete operational, payment and cash-on-delivery reconciliations.
• Support PR and influencer shipments.
• Track recurring operational issues through reporting.
• Identify and implement practical process improvements.
• Maintain clear records, trackers and standard operating procedures.
• Support marketplace onboarding and operations as the company grows.
• Visit the company's 3PL partner's warehouse in Bhiwandi when operationally required.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce operations, fulfilment, inventory, warehouse operations or logistics.
• Practical experience with Shopify and an order-management system.
• Experience working with courier aggregators.
• Familiarity with non-delivery reports, returns, return-to-origin shipments and delivery escalations.
• Strong spreadsheet and reconciliation skills.
• High attention to detail and comfort working with operational data.
• A calm, organised approach to problem-solving.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• The ability to coordinate effectively with multiple external partners.
• The ability to take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution.
• Comfort working in a hands-on startup environment.

Experience with Unicommerce, Shiprocket, Razorpay or e-commerce marketplaces is a major plus.
