Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks an Operational Excellence Specialist to drive shopfloor engagement and a culture of continuous improvement across multiple OE initiatives. The role focuses on implementing 5S, autonomous maintenance, quality circles, SMED and Six Sigma, while building a robust framework for problem solving and Lean practices.

You will develop and drive training modules, governance for OE initiatives, and dashboards to monitor MIS, OEE, RCA and QC projects, enabling sustained performance

Qualifications

• Experience in implementing shopfloor improvement programs and culture development.
• Strong understanding of OE concepts including 5S, TPM, QCC, and Lean methods.
• Ability to design and monitor KPI dashboards for manufacturing performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop shopfloor engagement and culture of improvements (5S, autonomous maintenance, quality circle, SMED, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Drive reliability metrics (OEE, OTIF, Yield, R&M, Quality) and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop capability at all levels to support division performance (training modules, problem solving techniques, governance of OE initiatives).
• Manage MIS, dashboards, reviews and updates of OE initiatives (OEE, RCA, QC, Elements, PICs, Trainings, Cost).

Job description

To develop shopfloor engagement & Culture of improvements:-

• 5S - Implementation
• Autonomous Maintenance implementation
• Developing & driving Quality circle culture for problem solving
• Implement & driving SMED concept for changeover time, shutdown time and Preventive Maintenance time
• Developing & driving Six Sigma drive as per plan
• Developing & driving Gemba Walk culture
• Implement best practices of Visual Management
• Developing & driving Kaizen culture
• Implement structured Reward & Recognition system with HR
• Driving Reliability indicators (OEE, OTIF, Yield, R&M, Quality, etc.) Improvement initiatives

To develop Capability at all levels to Support division performance Improvement:-

• Designing different training modules for internal trainings
• Training Operators / Executive / Engineers/ Managers / Leaders on basic Problem solving techniques like RCA, Quality Circle, 7 QC, Six Sigma, Lean, SMED etc
• Effective implementation of Reliability Strategic Dimension Guidelines
• Overall governance of Operational Excellence
• Managing all MIS, Dashboards, reviews and update of all OE initiatives (OEE, RCA, QC, Elements, PICs, Trainings, Cost etc)
• QC project completion with sustenance
