Job summary

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in Telangana seeks a senior Quality professional for transmission front axle assembly, focusing on process and product audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

You\'ll drive ISO 9001/TS16949 compliance, implement KAIZENS and POKA-YOKES, analyze customer complaints and supplier parts, and support new model launches.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality assurance function in assembly plant transmission front axle assembly.
• Audit and process audit experience across product lines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality of aggregates through Product & Process audits.
• Handle overall Product audit and Process audit on the assembly line.
• Analyze customer complaints and assembly line rejections; take corrective actions.
• Standardize all Quality Procedures and adopt continuous process improvements (KAIZENS).
• Monitor adherence to SOP/SOS; conduct periodic process audits, SPC and MSA studies.
• Drive Engineering Change Management and smooth launches of new models/variants.

• Transmission and front axle Aggregate assembly / Testing of tractor
• Transmission assembly process and functional testing knowledge is essential.
• Transmission axle types and field application gear /speed knowledge is essential.
• Hands on experience assembly practices of transmission axle manufacturing and quality setting parameters.
• Ensure quality of aggregates through Product & Process audits.
• Experience in Quality assurance function in assembly plant transmission front axle assembly.
• Handling overall Product audit and Process audit on assembly line.
• Knowledge of quality tools like 7 QC, Why Why analysis.
• Analysing customer complaints,Assembly line rejection, Supplier parts analysis and taking corrective actions, Standardizing all the Quality Procedure.
• Continuous process improvements (KAIZENS) to achieve consistent product quality.
• Implementation of POKA-YOKES to eliminate human error.
• Monitoring and ensuring adherence to processes with SOP/SOS by periodic process audit, SPC and MSA studies.
• Responsible for Engineering Change Management Process,
• Smooth launch of new model / new variants.
• Exposure to Quality management systems like ISO 9001, TS 16949

Experience

Above 7 to 8 yrs in Quality domain

Industry Preferred

Tractor Industry, Auto, Axles, Heavy vehicles/ Earth movers

Qualifications
