Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced engineer for a manufacturing role in Chakan, Maharashtra. The candidate will oversee production planning, manpower deployment, and process compliance across the cell, driving PQCDSM performance and TPM-based improvements.

Required BE and DME with 3–8 years of experience. Knowledge of NVH testing machines, gear geometry, and manufacturing processes is essential to resolve NVH issues in transaxle or transmission.

Qualifications

• Experience with NVH testing machines is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of gear geometry and standard manufacturing processes.
• Analytical approach to resolving NVH issues in transaxle or transmission.

Responsibilities

• Set production and deploy manpower as per schedule and TACT.
• Monitor, improve and sustain Cell’s performance with respect to PQCDSM.
• Identify and provide on-job training to operators to enhance versatility.
• Ensure manufacturing processes are carried out as per SOPs/SOS.
• Participate in CFTs like EN, DCP, PPAP, QCRT with proper document linkages.
• Initiate corrective actions with proper analysis in consultation with MFG Mgr./HODs for defects and deviations.
• Plan and maintain safe working environment and proper industrial relations.
• Ensure prompt response to customer concerns.
• Follow TPM methodology to reduce process variability in the workstation/department.
• Ensure stage buys-offs are calibrated to customer requirements and trends.
• Participate in change implementation programs.
• Identify non-conforming material at stages and take disposal action.
• Maintain MIS for management reporting and timely updates of DWM charts.

• Follow TPM methodology for reducing process variability in the workstation/ dept.
• Ensure stage buy-off are calibrated to customer requirements and trends are maintained
• Participate in change implementation programs
• Identify of non-conforming material on stages and take disposal action
• Ensure proper MIS for management reporting, timely & periodical updation of respective DWM charts
