Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited [Automotive and Farm Equipment Business] seeks an experienced engineer to drive part development for engine-related projects with emphasis on quality, cost and delivery. You will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure First-time Right and timely execution within APQP framework.

The role requires 4–8 years of automotive experience, BE Mech, and strong English, Hindi and Marathi communication along with good knowledge of supplier management and SAP MM.

Qualifications

• BE Mech with 4-8 years in automotive/farm industries.
• Knowledge of APQP, VPPAP and quality systems.
• Understanding of GST, VAT and tax structures.
• Experience in supplier management and cost awareness.
• Proficiency with SAP MM and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop parts for engine projects (proprietary viz. sintered, filters, pumps, etc.).
• Ensure First-time Right and on-time delivery within part development process.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal customers to meet QCD targets.
• Apply APQP/VPPAP processes and manage project timelines.

Responsible to Development of Parts of New Projects of Engine - Proprietary Viz. Sintered, Fuel, Oil Filters, Engine Bearings, Turbochargers, Water Pump, Oil Pump, HLA-RFF, CNG Kit, EGR Cooler, EGR Module, Oil Cooler, Damper Pulleys, Engine Valves etc. for First-time Right and Every Time Right delivery the Engine projects on given timeline thru part development process

From suppliers QCDd (Quality, Cost, Delivery & Development) approach

Job Requirements:

Experience (years): 4 to 8 years

Industry Preferred: Automotive / Farm

Qualification: BE Mech

Personality Traits: Influential and capable to handle the Suppliers and internal customers.

General Requirements: Knowledge of English, Hindi & Marathi is mandatory
