Job description

The DWP Solution Consultant is a technical presales and solutioning specialist who designs winning, deliverable, and commercially viable solutions across Teceze's Digital Workplace (DWP) portfolio, delivered under the ONEWORK operating model. The role sits at the intersection of Sales, Delivery, and the Centre of Excellence (COE) — translating client requirements into differentiated solution designs across Intelligent Service Desk, Endpoint Engineering & Modern Management, Digital Experience (DEX) & Proactive Operations, AI & Intelligent Automation, M365/Teams & Copilot, Field & Deskside Services, Device Lifecycle & Depot Services, Smart Workplace & AV, and Workplace Security & Compliance. The Solution Consultant plays a critical role in RFP/RFI responses, client workshops, solution architecture, effort estimation and pricing, and in building reusable IP that strengthens Teceze's competitive position in the DWP market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with Sales to qualify opportunities and understand client pain points, current-state environment, and desired business/experience outcomes.
  • Design end-to-end DWP solutions spanning one or more sub-towers (Service Desk, Endpoint/UEM, DEX/AIOps, AI & Automation, Collaboration, Field Services, Device Lifecycle, Smart Workplace/AV, Security) tailored to client needs.
  • Lead or contribute to RFP/RFI/RFQ responses — solution narrative, service descriptions, org design, transition approach, staffing plans, and technology architecture.
  • Develop solution architecture and technical diagrams articulating the ONEWORK operating model — shared data, integration, governance, knowledge, and AI orchestration across the client's environment.
  • Build and deliver compelling client-facing presentations, solution demonstrations, and proofs of concept (POCs) / proofs of value (POVs).
  • Represent Teceze in client workshops, discovery sessions, and due-diligence calls, acting as the credible technical voice of the DWP practice.
  • Develop effort estimation, staffing pyramids, and delivery models (dedicated pods vs. shared pools, onshore/nearshore/offshore, follow-the-sun) for proposed solutions.
  • Work with Sales and Finance to build costing and pricing models across commercial constructs — per-user, per-device, per-ticket, managed service, and outcome-based pricing.
  • Support commercial negotiations by clarifying solution scope, assumptions, dependencies, and pricing rationale to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure proposed solutions meet target gross margin and deliverability thresholds before submission, escalating risks to the Practice Head where needed.
3. Technical Leadership & Centre of Excellence (COE) Contribution
  • Stay current on the DWP platform ecosystem (ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune/Autopilot, Nexthink/1E, Azure OpenAI/Copilot Studio, UiPath/Power Automate, Entra ID/Defender, Blancco, and similar) and emerging trends in AI-first, experience-led workplace services.
  • Contribute to the DWP Centre of Excellence (COE) by building reusable solution accelerators, reference architectures, estimation models, and demo assets.
  • Champion innovation and differentiation — conversational AI, agentic automation, self-heal AIOps, Copilot readiness/adoption, and governed/responsible AI practices — in every solution design.
  • Ensure all proposed solutions align with XLA + SLA governance, ITIL 4 process design, persona-based service design, and shift-left economics.
  • Mentor junior presales/solutions team members and support their technical and commercial upskilling.
4. Transition & Delivery Enablement
  • Support a smooth handover from Sales/Solutioning into Transition and Service Delivery, ensuring the solution as sold is deliverable as designed.
  • Participate in solution walkthroughs and knowledge transfer with the Transition Manager and Service Delivery leads at deal closure.
  • Validate that transition timelines (e.g., 4–6 week service desk stand-up, two-week field/depot mobilization) and staffing assumptions built into the proposal are realistic and achievable.
  • Provide ongoing solution support during early life of an account, addressing scope clarifications and design queries as they arise.
5. Marketing & Thought Leadership Support
  • Partner with the Marketing team on collateral — case studies, whitepapers, solution briefs, webinars — that showcase DWP/ONEWORK capabilities and client outcomes.
  • Represent Teceze at industry events, client roundtables, and analyst briefings as a subject-matter expert on Digital Workplace services.
  • Support the development of a quantified, baseline-driven business case (experience, cost, agility, security, and sustainability value levers) used in client pursuits and marketing narratives.
  • Win rate on proposals/RFPs supported, and quality/competitiveness of solution designs submitted.
  • Solution accuracy — alignment between proposed solution/pricing and what is actually delivered post-signing (low scope/margin leakage at transition).
  • Speed and quality of RFP/RFI turnaround and POC/POV delivery.
  • Reusable IP and accelerators contributed to the DWP Centre of Excellence.
  • Client and internal stakeholder feedback on presales engagement quality.
  • Contribution to marketing-sourced pipeline and thought leadership output.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/IT; relevant certifications (ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, ServiceNow, etc.) preferred.
  • 6–12+ years of overall experience in IT Infrastructure/Managed Services, with meaningful exposure to Digital Workplace/End User Computing services.
  • 3+ years in a technical presales, solution consulting, or solution architecture role, ideally within an IT services/managed services organization.
  • Demonstrated experience responding to RFPs/RFIs and supporting large or complex deal pursuits.
  • Exposure to global/enterprise clients across multiple geographies and industry verticals (e.g., Healthcare, Energy & Utilities, Retail & Hospitality).
  • Strong working knowledge across the DWP portfolio: Service Desk, Endpoint/UEM, DEX & AIOps, AI & Intelligent Automation, M365/Teams/Copilot, Field & Deskside, Device Lifecycle/Depot, Smart Workplace & AV, and Workplace Security.
  • Hands-on familiarity with relevant platforms — ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune/Autopilot/Copilot Studio, Nexthink/1E, Azure OpenAI, UiPath/Power Automate, Entra ID/Defender — sufficient to design and defend a solution technically.
  • Strong commercial acumen — effort estimation, staffing/pricing models, and margin awareness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create and deliver compelling client-facing presentations and proposals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into structured solution designs.
  • Comfortable working under pursuit timelines, managing multiple concurrent opportunities.
  • Collaborative mindset — able to work seamlessly across Sales, Delivery, COE, Transition, and Marketing.
