Job summary

Miraj Group in Gurugram seeks a proactive supervisor to oversee department employees, facilities, operations and costs on a daily basis, ensuring quality products and guest satisfaction.

You will coordinate with the Duty/Cinema Manager to set targets, streamline processes, manage stock, handle deliveries, and maintain cleanliness and readiness across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department employees, facilities, operations and costs on a day-to-day basis.
• Monitor quality levels of products and services; ensure guest satisfaction; maintain sanitation and hygiene across the area.
• Assist the Duty Manager / Cinema Manager in setting targets and achieving them; implement productive selling techniques.
• Conduct employee orientation for new joiners and regular staff trainings to ensure staffing adequacy and productivity.
• Liaise with Duty Manager / Cinema Manager for operational decisions (re-ordering quantity, promotions, competition/trend analysis).
• Oversee store processes: check incoming products against POs and supplier invoices; report discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain minimum stock levels and participate in daily/weekly stock takes; ensure proper handover during shift changes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards; ensure operational readiness during shifts; provide inputs to food ordering quantities and programming for MOD.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible to supervise the functions of the department employees, facilities, operations and cost on a day- to-day basis.

Responsible to monitors and to control, on an on-going basis:

• a) Quality levels of products and services.
• b) Ensuring guest satisfaction.
• c) Ensuring sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene of the entire area under his purview.
• d) Ensuring optimum performance in specific jobs assigned to him.
• e) Complying with laid down systems and procedure.

• Responsible to assist the Duty Manager / Cinema Manager in setting targets/ goals for the department and make continuous effort to achieve the same.
• Responsible for minimizing transaction time and to introduce new techniques of productive selling.
• Responsible for conducting employee orientation for all new joinees and staff trainings for all existing employees on a regular basis to ensure appropriate staffing and increased productivity.

Responsible for Liasioning with the Duty Manager / Cinema Manager for operational decisions and such factors as:

• a) Re-ordering quantity.
• b) Promotions.
• c) Competition and trend analysis.

Responsible for Store:

• a) To ensure that incoming products are checked against standard purchase order/suppliers invoice/deliver note.
• b) To inform the department concerned when goods are rejected due to wrong deliveries or difference specification/standards.

• Responsible for maintaining minimum stock levels of all items and should participate in inventories (Stock Take) on daily/weekly basis.
• Responsible for ensuring proper hand-over and take-over during shift change.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of operations
• Responsible for ensuring operational readiness for all entries and intervals during the shift.
• Responsible for providing inputs to the MOD for food ordering quantities and for programming.
