Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all IOCC activities during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with DGCA, ICAO, CARs, SMS.
  • Communicate with flight crew and ATS units as per ERP protocols.
  • Oversee preparation of accurate Trip Kits including flight plans, NOTAMs, weather analysis, and RTOW charts, incorporating cost‑optimization measures such as fuel tankering.
  • Ensure timely ATC flight plan filing, amendments, and required FIC/ADC clearances.
  • Monitor crew FDTL compliance using Crew Management Systems and conduct crew briefings.
  • Maintain and update critical operational documentation (Ops Manuals, AIPs, MEL, RTOW, Jeppesen, etc.).
  • Track flight milestones against scheduled timelines using OTP checklists.
  • Proactively identify delay risks and coordinate with internal departments for mitigation.
  • Escalate systemic or recurring delays to senior leadership when required.
  • Lead real‑time management of operational disruptions due to weather, technical, or airport constraints.
  • Activate and manage Emergency Response Procedures (ERP) when required, ensuring real‑time documentation.
  • Communicate with flight crew and ATS units strictly as per authority levels and ERP communication protocols.

About the Role

Quikjet Cargo Airlines is seeking a highly experienced Duty Manager – IOCC to lead real‑time airline operations across our network. This is a critical leadership role at the heart of flight operations, responsible for ensuring operational continuity, safety, regulatory compliance, and on‑time performance during live shifts. As the Duty Manager, you will act as the primary decision‑making authority within the IOCC, coordinating with flight crew, ATC, ground operations, and internal stakeholders to manage dispatch, disruptions, and emergencies efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise all IOCC activities during assigned shifts in accordance with OCC SOPs and manuals.
  • Ensure smooth shift take‑over and handover through structured briefings.
  • Manage and guide IOCC shift teams to maintain operational excellence.
  • Oversee preparation of accurate Trip Kits including flight plans, NOTAMs, weather analysis, and RTOW charts, incorporating cost‑optimization measures such as fuel tankering.
  • Ensure timely ATC flight plan filing, amendments, and required FIC/ADC clearances.

Flight Watch & Flight Following
  • Maintain continuous monitoring of all airborne and ground aircraft during the shift.
  • Take immediate action when flight tracking data is delayed, incomplete, or abnormal.
  • Ensure en‑route updates (weather, NOTAMs, operational advisories) are relayed to crew as per SOPs.
  • Ensure full functionality of IOCC infrastructure including operational software, communication systems, and hardware.
  • Log, escalate, and track technical issues or software malfunctions.
  • Ensure accurate recording of technical logs and post‑flight operational data.
Regulatory Compliance & Shift Leadership
  • Ensure compliance with DGCA, ICAO, CARs, SMS, ERP, OCC Manual, and Dispatch Manual.
  • Support audits, safety meetings, and internal assessments.
  • Provide comprehensive end‑of‑shift reports to Head‑IOCC covering operational status and task completion.
  • Uphold and promote a strong Safety Management System (SMS) culture.
  • Identify hazards, report incidents, and intervene to prevent unsafe practices.
  • Participate in investigations and apply human factors principles during operational decision‑making.
Qualifications & Experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in airline operations or flight dispatch.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or Duty Manager role.
  • Hands‑on experience with dispatch and crew systems such as ARMS, Jeppesen, SABRE, or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of DGCA CARs, AIP/AICs, ERP, and SMS.
Preferred
  • Valid DGCA / FAA Flight Dispatcher Licence.
  • Experience in 24×7 OCC / IOCC environment.
  • Exposure to international flight operations and global regulatory frameworks.
