Job summary

Ampersand Group in Maharashtra is seeking an EV Training Instructor to deliver structured theoretical and practical training on EV fundamentals, battery technology, BMS, motors, charging, diagnostics, and safety. The role includes developing lesson plans and materials, conducting hands-on workshops, and coordinating guest lectures and industry visits.

You will monitor student progress through attendance, assignments and assessments, and guide skill development to prepare learners for employment

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured theoretical and practical EV training sessions covering EV fundamentals, battery technology, BMS, electric motors, controllers, charging systems, diagnostics and safety procedures.
• Prepare lesson plans, presentations, practical training modules, demonstrations, and instructional materials; summarize key concepts and assign exercises.
• Provide hands-on training on EV components, systems, tools, equipment, diagnostics, maintenance, troubleshooting and safety practices.
• Distribute textbooks, course materials, practical resources, uniforms and required safety equipment to students as per program requirements.
• Organize and coordinate guest lectures, expert sessions, workshops and industry visits to EV facilities, service centers and charging stations.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and monitor student participation, performance and progress.
• Design and evaluate assignments, practical exercises, projects and assessments; provide feedback and corrective actions to improve learning outcomes.
• Identify skill gaps and provide guidance, mentoring, and practical support to ensure students develop competencies for employment in the EV and automotive industry.

Job description

• Conduct EV Training Classes: Deliver structured theoretical and practical training sessions to students in accordance with the Electric Vehicle curriculum, covering EV fundamentals, battery technology, BMS, electric motors, controllers, charging systems, diagnostics, and safety procedures.
• Prepare for Classes: Develop lesson plans, presentations, practical training modules, demonstrations, and instructional materials in advance. Summarize key concepts at the end of each session and assign relevant practical exercises, assignments, or homework.
• Conduct Practical & Workshop Training: Provide hands‑on training on EV components, systems, tools, equipment, diagnostics, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
• Issue Training Materials and Safety Equipment: Distribute textbooks, course materials, practical training resources, uniforms, and required safety equipment to students as per program requirements.
• Conduct Guest Lectures and Industry Visits: Organize and coordinate guest lectures, expert sessions, workshops, and visits to EV manufacturing facilities, service centers, charging stations, or other relevant industry locations to provide practical exposure.
• Attendance and Student Records: Maintain accurate attendance records and monitor student participation, performance, and overall progress throughout the training program.
• Assignments, Practical Assessments & Examinations: Design and evaluate assignments, practical exercises, projects, and assessments to measure students' theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of EV technology. Conduct periodic assessments and final examinations, provide constructive feedback, and take corrective actions to improve student learning outcomes.
• Student Skill Development: Identify skill gaps among students and provide additional guidance, mentoring, and practical support to ensure they develop the technical competencies required for employment in the Electric Vehicle and automotive industry.
