Job summary

GTT Foundation seeks a Master Trainer for EV Vehicles to deliver and supervise advanced technical training across EV systems. The role combines senior technical expertise with center operations leadership to ensure smooth administration, training quality, and placement outcomes.

The Master Trainer will lead trainers, mobilizers, and placement coordinators, manage day-to-day center operations, and drive mobilization, training, and placement targets while maintaining a positive learning

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of EV, ICE, and CNG systems.
  • Hands-on diagnostics and maintenance skills.
  • Ability to design training modules and assessments.
  • Experience in technical training and center operations.
  • Strong leadership and coordination abilities.

Job Title : Master Trainer (EV Vehicles)
Job Description

The Master Trainer is responsible for delivering and supervising advanced technical training across Electric Vehicle (EV). This role also includes center operations leadership, ensuring smooth administration, compliance, mobilization performance, training quality, and placement outcomes. The Master Trainer plays a dual role: senior technical expert and center operations lead.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct and supervise training sessions on EV, systems.
  • Deliver hands-on practical training using real components, tools, and diagnostic equipment for 2 & 3 Wheelers.
  • Train on EV motors, controllers, BMS, batteries, wiring, charging, and diagnostics.
  • Train on petrol engine repair, servicing, BS6 systems, and diagnostics.
  • Train on CNG kit installation, leak testing, pressure checks, calibration, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare lesson plans, practical schedules, learning materials, and assessments.
  • Evaluate trainees through theory and practical tests.
  • Maintain EV/ICE/CNG lab setups, tools, and equipment.
  • Implement high-voltage EV safety and high-pressure safety practices.
  • Maintain trainee attendance, assessment records, documentation, and registration.
  • Build industry connections for placements and organize employer meets, visits, and guest sessions.
  • Lead and support trainers, mobilizers, placement coordinators.
  • Achieve the centers mobilization, training, and placement targets as defined by the project.
  • Manage day-to-day center administration to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Generate and coordinate job opportunities for students through industry engagement and employer networks.
  • Prepare reports and monitor all center activities to ensure compliance and training quality.
  • Maintain overall discipline, decorum, and a positive learning environment within the center.
Educational Requirement

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in: Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics

Experience

5-7 years combined experience in:

  • EV/Automotive service centers
  • Engine diagnostics & maintenance
  • CNG kit fitment or service
  • Technical training roles
  • Training center operations
Essential Requirements
  • In depth technical knowledge of EV, ICE, and CNG systems.
  • Strong hands-on skills in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using scanners, diagnostic tools, multimeters, gas detectors, and technical documents.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and training delivery skills.
  • Ability to design training modules, assessments, and OJT plans.
  • Strong leadership and center management capabilities.
  • Strong reporting, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Safety-focused and disciplined approach.
Preferred Requirements
  • NSDC/ASDC ToT Certification.
  • High-Voltage Safety Certification (EV).
  • CNG Safety / PESO-aligned certification.
