Job summary

JobItUs in Gujarat, India seeks a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee equipment erection, commissioning and handover per project timelines. You will ensure qualification documents and QA workflows are completed for new projects, and review mechanical drawings for accuracy.

You will also enforce safety practices to achieve zero accidents, manage material inventory, track vendor invoices, and coordinate day-to-day fitter work while providing technical support and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Equipment Erection, Commissioning & Handover of Project as per timeline.
2. Completion of Qualification Document & other QA Document of New Project as per timeline.
3. Review and Analysis of Project Mechanical Drawing.
4. Compliance to approved Permit system and ensuring safe work Practices and ensure Zero accident at Project sites.
5. Mechanical Material inventory management, material receipt, quality check, storage & tracking.
6. Ensure timely and accurate checking of vendor bills and maintain records.
7. Distribute the daily Job work to fitter and follow up its & provide technical support & material.
8. Implementing effective Preventive maintenance schedule to enhance equipment reliability and up time.
9. Decrease Equipment down time due to unscheduled maintenance.
10. Breakdown Maintenance - Completion of breakdown maintenance jobs for Plant within stipulated time.
11. To took safety aspects during operations.
12. Handling all the mechanical modification jobs required in the plants.
