Job summary

Indalc Spirits Private Limited seeks a Distillation Operator to operate and monitor distillation systems in our ethanol and ENA plant. You will ensure smooth plant operation, maintain product quality, and optimize process efficiency.

You will monitor distillation columns, control temperatures and pressures, and test alcohol purity to meet ENA and ethanol standards. Rotate shifts while upholding safety and process discipline across the site.

Qualifications

• 10th pass to graduate with Diploma/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ years experience in Distillery / ENA Plant preferred.
• Strong understanding of distillation process.
• Ability to interpret process parameters & trends.
• Basic knowledge of DCS/SCADA systems.
• Good troubleshooting and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control distillation columns via DCS or manual valves.
• Maintain precise temperature, pressure, and flow rate parameters.
• Sample and test alcohol purity to ensure ENA/Ethanol standards.
• Execute plant start-up, shut-down, and CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process deviations immediately.
• Document production yields, logs, and energy consumption hourly.
• Coordinate with fermentation and effluent treatment teams for smooth flow.
• Enforce strict safety protocols regarding flammable liquid handling.
