Responsibilities

• Operate decanter centrifuges to separate stillage into wet cake and thin slop.
• Control dryer inlet/outlet temperatures to achieve moisture 10–12%.
• Monitor DCS screens for feed rates, motor RPMs, energy consumption.
• Inspect equipment for vibrations, leaks or overheating in gearboxes and conveyors.
• Verify DDGS quality through sampling of color, texture and dryness.
• Clear blockages in cyclones, chutes and screw conveyors to prevent downtime.
• Maintain logs for steam consumption, production output and chemical usage.
• Execute CIP cycles to prevent buildup and microbial growth.
• Follow fire safety protocols to prevent combustible dust explosions.
