Job summary

Indalc Spirits Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Lab Chemist for our ethanol and ENA production facility in Odisha. The role focuses on maintaining product quality, performing laboratory analyses, and supporting plant operations through accurate testing and reporting.

You will conduct chemical tests on materials, calibrate equipment, document results, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with honours.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a chemical lab.
• Familiarity with SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical tests, experiments, and analyses on raw materials and finished products.
• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for testing.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.
• Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Assist in research and development (R&D) activities.
• Monitor quality control processes in manufacturing or production units.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, conducting laboratory analyses, and supporting efficient plant operations through accurate testing and reporting.
