Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatch Officer to manage and oversee all dispatch operations for gypsum board products. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining smooth material flow while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound & Inward Operations:

• Supervise and manage the receipt of raw materials and finished goods.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Ensure proper documentation and recording of inward entries in ERP systems.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team for proper storage and inventory updates.
• Conduct quality checks in coordination with QA/QC teams.

Outbound & Dispatch Operations:

• Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules based on sales orders and priorities.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, and loading of gypsum boards.
• Prepare dispatch documents including invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, and transport documents.
• Coordinate with transporters for timely vehicle placement and dispatch.
• Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Inventory & Coordination:

• Maintain stock records and ensure alignment between physical stock and system records.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
• Monitor slow-moving and excess inventory.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance checks.
• Handle e-way bill generation and GST-related dispatch documentation.

Process Improvement:

• Identify inefficiencies in dispatch and logistics operations and suggest improvements.
• Optimize loading processes to reduce transit damage.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, inward, and outward logistics processes
• Experience in ERP/SAP systems for inventory and dispatch management
• Good understanding of transport coordination and documentation
• Knowledge of GST, e-way bills, and logistics compliance
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
• Experience in building materials / manufacturing industry is highly preferred
