Job summary

EcomExInfotech seeks an Operations Director in India to lead end-to-end logistics, scale networks, and drive efficiency. The role requires building scalable processes, managing large teams, and delivering superior customer outcomes across multiple cities and hubs.

The candidate will partner with CXOs and enterprise partners, optimize delivery performance, and travel extensively to oversee operations. A senior leader with 20+ years in operations is expected.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in Operations.
• Experience leading large-scale operations and teams.
• Strong end-to-end e-commerce logistics understanding.
• Experience managing pickup, transportation, sorting, last-mile, RTO, NDR and reverse logistics.
• Proven ability to improve delivery performance and reduce costs.
• Experience across multiple locations, hubs, warehouses or regional ops.
• SOP development, SLA management, process improvements and quality control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and decision-making.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end logistics and operational functions across the organization.
• Build and maintain strong operational processes across cities, hubs, warehouses, and delivery networks.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve speed, efficiency, and reliability.
• Drive reduction in RTO, NDR, delivery failures, shipment delays, damages, and operational costs.
• Coordinate with Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Technology, Finance, and Management teams.
• Manage relationships with courier partners, logistics partners, vendors, transportation providers, and service providers.
• Monitor courier-partner performance and negotiate improvements in service quality, capacity, and efficiency.
• Establish systems for real-time shipment monitoring, exception management, escalation handling, and performance tracking.
• Use data analytics to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Lead expansion into new cities, hubs, and markets.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Be willing to travel across locations.

We are looking for an experienced Operations Director with 20+ years of experience in Operations, This is a senior leadership role for a strategic and execution-focused professional who can build efficient operations, manage large teams, improve customer experience, and scale EcomEx's network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of SOP development, SLA management, process improvement, and quality control.

• Comfortable working with CXOs, senior management, enterprise clients, and strategic partners.
• Strong understanding of MIS, dashboards, operational analytics, and performance reporting.
