Pan HR Solution Limited in Mumbai seeks a Global Category Lead to develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, overseen across 100+ suppliers and 150+ SKU/RM codes, driving cost optimization and governance.

You will lead supplier risk management, contract negotiations, TCO reduction, and procurement transformation through digitization, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional collaboration with Planning, Operations, Quality, and R&D to deliver sustainable, value-driven supply

• 15+ years of procurement and strategic sourcing experience in MNCs.
• Experience in Rubber/Tires, FMCG, Automotive or manufacturing industries.
• Expertise in global category management and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Strong supplier network management, vendor development, qualification, audits, negotiations and contract governance.

The Global Category Lead will be responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies for raw materials, managing a multi-million-dollar procurement portfolio across 100+ suppliers and 150+ SKU/RM codes, while ensuring cost optimization, supply security, and procurement governance. The role will drive strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiations, cost-saving initiatives, and total cost of ownership (TCO) reduction, in close collaboration with Planning, Plant Operations, Quality, and R&D teams. It will also lead supplier risk management, technical sourcing, material qualification, and business continuity initiatives while monitoring global market trends and commodity dynamics. Additionally, the position will play a key role in procurement transformation through centralization, digitization, process automation, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, sustainability, and long-term value creation across the global supply chain.

Key Requirement:

• 15+ years of experience in Procurement & Strategic Sourcing within MNCs, preferably in Rubber Industry or Tires, FMCG, Automotive or Manufacturing industries.
• Strong expertise in Global Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Commodity Markets and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Proven experience in managing global supplier networks, vendor development, qualification, audits, negotiations and contract management.
• Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement and S&OP processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP systems, digital procurement tools, analytics and procurement transformation initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading global sourcing projects and matrix teams, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
