Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing across Tech & Services and sub-categories, delivering YoY cost savings and compliant supplier contracts. You will partner with EMEA stakeholders, manage RFx, negotiations, and contract execution, while driving digitalization and dashboard-driven insights.

You will oversee onboarding, due diligence, and scorecard systems, mentor junior team members, and ensure alignment with global procurement goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA (good to have).
  • 8–10 years of procurement buyer / category management experience; global matrix exposure.
  • Experience working with EMEA stakeholders preferred.
  • Strategic Sourcing from sourcing through contract execution.
  • Proficiency in e-Sourcing tools (Ariba / Archlet) and Contract Management Systems (Icertis).
  • Strong contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost modelling skills.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting/dashboards for decision support.
  • Broad understanding of Global Procurement activities.
  • Effective communication and English language proficiency.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.

  • Lead 7-Step Sourcing Process and deliver YoY cost savings and compliance.
  • Own strategic sourcing from stakeholder intake to contract negotiation and management.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across projects and subcategories.
  • Conduct supplier selection, negotiations, and award decisions aligned to goals.
  • Draft, negotiate, and execute contracts with legal and suppliers.
  • Drive supplier onboarding, due diligence, and scorecard setup.
  • Manage eSourcing & Contract management tools, dashboards and automation.
  • Ensure procurement policy compliance and maintain documentation.
  • Coach junior procurement team members and SMEs on best practices.
  • Coordinate with EMEA Procurement to sign off strategy and awarded suppliers.
  • Collaborate across global/category teams to align regional requirements.
  • Share best practices and drive stakeholder communications.

Job description

Overview

Manage strategic sourcing activities for pre-aligned projects across Tech & Services category or projects & strategy development and execution for pre-aligned specific sub categories, ensuring alignment with business needs, delivering YoY cost savings, Additional Value and driving compliance. Partnering with internal stakeholders across category & market within EMEA Procurement, legal and suppliers to enable efficient, value-driven, and compliant sourcing across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities
  • Lead 7-Step Sourcing Process under the supervision and final alignment of EMEA Procurement team and deliver YoY cost savings, Additional Value, contract coverage, and sourcing productivity as per annual targets.
  • Own strategic sourcing process: from stakeholder intake, market scan, Sourcing strategy, RFx setup, analyses and execution to contract negotiation. Also handle contract management scope.
  • Drive innovation & continuous improvement initiatives across the projects and Sub categories assigned
  • Conduct supplier selection, negotiations, and award decisions with clear alignment to business, cost, compliance, and sustainability goals.
  • Draft, negotiate, and execute contracts in partnership with legal, category leads, and suppliers, ensuring terms meet PepsiCo’s compliance and business requirements.
  • Drive supplier onboarding and qualification including financial due diligence, scorecard setup, and reference checks.
  • Manage eSourcing & Contract management tools and lead automation, digitization, and dashboarding initiatives across procurement touchpoints.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain high-quality documentation and reporting of contracts, supplier data, and project pipelines.
  • Coach junior ICC procurement team members and act as a subject matter expert (SME) on sourcing best practices, tools, and processes.
  • Keep the EMEA Procurement team engaged and informed on each step of the process enabling the team to sign off sourcing strategy, Rfx recommendation and awarded suppliers.
  • Work as one team with the EMEA Procurement team and business
  • Further accountabilities, in case of Strategic sourcing support for specific sub categories:
  • conduct regular business reviews with stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring performance KPIs and SLAs are met and improvement plans are actioned.
  • Develop sub category strategy in collaboration with global category team, ensuring EMEA category requirements are considered into the global category purpose and vision.
  • Share best practices and celebrate success through combination of communication channels and methodologies appropriate for the stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA (good to have)
  • Minimum 8 –10 years of procurement buyer / category management experience (preferably in global matrix organizations) (experience working with EMEA stakeholders highly preferred), with adequate knowledge about multiple indirect procurement categories
  • Strategic Sourcing expertise – from sourcing through contract execution
  • Proficiency in e-Sourcing tools (Ariba / Archlet) and Contract Management Systems (Icertis)
  • Strong contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost modelling skills
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting/dashboards for decision support
  • Broad understanding of Global Procurement activities
  • Effective communication skills, presentation skills and proficiency in English language
  • Experience in sourcing processes & technologies, with experience of implementing in a global & regional environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and root cause identification skills
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change effort
