The Procurement Manager will lead indirect and non-production procurement across multiple spend categories. The role covers sourcing strategy, supplier development, cost optimization, and full P2P compliance across all manufacturing plants, so that procurement delivers the best service at optimal cost.

Enterprise Services, Technical Goods, Site Operational Supplies & Consumables, Capex, Marketing (ATL & BTL), Workforce & Third-Party Labour, Recruitment, Car Lease & Insurance, Facility Management, Real Estate, Consulting (Finance & IT), and IM (Communication, Hardware & Services).
Role & responsibilities
Sourcing Strategy
- Develop sourcing strategies for each spend sub-category, including preferred supplier lists, defined buying channels, and compliance and governance frameworks.
- Conduct spend analysis using the Kraljic Matrix and design long-term strategies to reduce overall supply chain risk.
Supplier Development & Management
- Drive new supplier development and improve existing supplier performance.
- Lead cost negotiations and build innovative contracts with key suppliers.
- Manage vendor performance through the QDCIS Matrix, including sustainability parameters.
Cost Optimization
- Initiate and guide synergy, cost savings, P2P process improvement, innovation, and risk reduction programs.
- Lead implementation of cross-country, cross-BU and cross-BA contracts with clear project plans.
- Set up and support internal and external systems to measure results, including savings, baselines, compliance, and KPIs.
Procure-to-Pay (P2P) & Controls
- Own the end-to-end procurement process: RFI, RFP, RFQ, and e-auctions.
- Implement the complete P2P process to ensure compliance.
- Ensure SLA compliance for PO creation and vendor payments.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
Operations & Performance
- Monitor procurement activities across all manufacturing plants and act to ensure OTIF delivery, avoiding stock-outs and line stoppages.
- Track functional KPIs and give guidance to prevent operational lapses.
- Develop regular insights to improve procurement performance and internal stakeholder management.
Experience
- 10+ years in procurement, preferably in chemicals, coatings, adhesives, or manufacturing.
- Proven experience in supplier development, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Management.
- CPM or MBA preferred.
