Job description

Director, Demand Partnerships

strongmetrics | Gurgaon (HQ) | Full-time

About strongmetrics

strongmetrics is a fast‑scaling adtech company operating across performance advertising, programmatic demand, and AI‑Assisted campaign management. We work with agencies, DSPs, and brands globally, and are expanding programmatic revenue across the US, Israel, and EU markets. This is a high‑visibility role reporting directly into leadership, with significant influence over strongmetrics' international growth trajectory.

The Role

strongmetrics is looking for a Director, Demand Partnerships to lead the onboarding and growth of brand demand across agencies and DSPs in the US, Israel, and EU. This person will own the full demand‑side partnership lifecycle from prospecting and pitching through onboarding, activation, and long‑term account growth and will be the primary face of strongmetrics to agency trading desks, brand‑direct buyers, and DSP partners in these regions. This is a strategic, revenue‑owning role suited to someone who already has an active network of agency and DSP relationships in at least one of these markets and is comfortable operating across time zones with a distributed, global team.

What You’ll Do
  • Own demand partner acquisition: identify, pitch, and onboard agencies, holding‑company trading desks, brand‑direct buyers, and DSPs across the US, Israel, and EU as active demand sources on strongmetrics' programmatic and performance products.
  • Manage the onboarding lifecycle: lead commercial negotiations, contracting, and technical/platform onboarding (DSP seat setup, PMP deal configuration, ID integrations) in partnership with internal ad ops and engineering teams.
  • Build and manage a demand pipeline: maintain a structured pipeline across all three regions, with clear stage‑gating from prospecting to signed and spending accounts.
  • Grow existing accounts: increase share of wallet with onboarded partners through QBRs, performance reporting, and proactive account management.
  • Negotiate commercial terms: structure rate cards, fee models, and deal terms (e.g., flat vs. tiered pricing) in a way that balances competitiveness with strongmetrics' margin goals.
  • Represent strongmetrics externally: attend industry events and conferences (e.g., ATS, DMEXCO) to build and maintain relationships across the buy‑side ecosystem.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally: work closely with supply, ad ops, fraud/compliance (e.g., IVT monitoring), and finance teams to ensure smooth partner activation and billing.
  • Report on pipeline and revenue: provide regular visibility to leadership on pipeline health, conversion rates, and regional revenue contribution.
  • Stay ahead of market shifts: track DSP product changes, agency trading desk consolidation, privacy/identity shifts (e.g., cookie deprecation, clean rooms), and regional regulatory changes (especially EU) that affect demand partnerships.
What We’re Looking For
  • 610+ years in programmatic/digital advertising, with direct experience in demand partnerships, agency sales, DSP partnerships, or programmatic business development.
  • Existing relationships with agency trading desks, brand‑direct buyers, and/or DSPs across at least one of the US, Israel, or EU; multi‑region experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem: DSPs, SSPs, PMPs, header bidding, CTV, and identity solutions.
  • Track record of closing and scaling demand partnerships, with clear revenue outcomes.
  • Comfortable with commercial negotiation, rate structures, deal terms, and contract redlines.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams (ad ops, engineering, finance) to operationalize partnerships.
  • Ability to work across time zones and travel as needed for industry events and partner meetings.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills; ability to represent strongmetrics credibly to senior buy‑side stakeholders.
  • Self‑starter comfortable in a fast‑moving, bootstrapped, founder‑led environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience specifically with Israeli ad‑tech/martech ecosystem (many DSPs and demand platforms are HQ'd there).
  • Existing familiarity with EU privacy/regulatory landscape (GDPR, consent frameworks) as it relates to programmatic demand.
  • Prior experience at a DSP, agency trading desk, or programmatic platform in a partnerships or business development capacity.
What Success Looks Like
  • A defined and growing roster of active, spending demand partners across US, Israel, and EU within the first 2–3 quarters.
  • Reduced partner concentration risk through a diversified demand base.
  • Consistent quarter‑over‑quarter growth in programmatic revenue attributable to new and existing demand partnerships.
  • Strong, trust‑based relationships with key agency and DSP counterparts that translate into durable, long‑term revenue.
