Job summary

Infomerics Ratings invites applications for the role of Director - Business Development. The incumbent will drive BD initiatives across Large Corporates, Mid-Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Structured Finance segments, engaging Promoters and CFOs to generate mandates.

You will lead pitches, grow strategic relationships, and ensure compliant mandate execution with our rating teams. The role requires leadership to coach the BD Origination team toward meeting aggressive business targets and

• Experience in business development with a focus on large corporates and financial institutions.
• Ability to identify and acquire new business opportunities and lead client pitches.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business opportunities across Large Corporates, Mid-Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Structured Finance segments.
• Meet and engage with Promoters, CFOs, Treasurers, Bankers, Investment Bankers, and Consultants to generate new rating mandates.
• Lead client pitches, presentations, and discussions to explain rating methodologies and value propositions.
• Maintain and grow strategic long-term relationships with key corporate clients and financial market intermediaries.
• Track market developments, fund-raising trends, regulatory updates and competitor activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth mandate execution and client servicing.
• Represent the organization in industry forums, conferences, and investor networking platforms.
• Lead and mentor BD / Origination team members to achieve targets.
