Job summary

Wockhardt Hospitals in Mumbai invites applications for a dietitian to support inpatient nutrition and dietary management within the hospital. The role involves direct patient interaction, coordinating with the chief dietician, and ensuring culturally appropriate meals.

You will conduct regular ward rounds, design therapeutic and modified diets, supervise food and beverage operations, provide discharge counseling, support health check-ups / OPD counseling in the absence of the Chief Dietician,

Responsibilities

• Regular ward rounds & patient interaction.
• Providing appropriate therapeutic & non-therapeutic diets to all patients within their socio cultural constraints.
• Providing for any special diets in consultation with the chief dietician.
• Supervision of F&B; meal services.
• Discharge Counseling for Inpatients.
• Counseling for Health Check Ups / OPD in the absence of the Chief Dietician or when needed.
• Monitoring the F&B; processes i.e. safety, hygiene practices etc.
• Maintaining records for the department .
