Job summary

Sigma Engineered Solutions in Pune is seeking a Die Casting Manager to lead the die casting operations. You will oversee KPI-driven production, drive improvements, and coordinate with paint shop, machining, tool room, ME and other support functions to ensure smooth plant performance.

The role requires strong planning, leadership and project-oriented problem solving to enhance productivity and shop-floor safety. Based at Chakan plant, candidates with 9–12 years in die casting are preferred.

Qualifications

• BE Mech / Production with die casting experience.
• Knowledge of die casting troubleshooting with systematic approach.
• 9 to 12 years of experience in die casting domain.

Responsibilities

• Manage die casting KPI domains: productivity, quality, cost, delivery, development, safety, morale.
• Oversee production planning and resource allocation.

Job description

1.Job Objective :-'Die casting Manager.

2.Key Role & Responsibilities :-

• Responsible for all die casting KPI's Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Development, Safety & Morale.
• Overall Management of Production planning & resources.
• Initiating & executing Projects to improve First Time Right.
• Close coordination with other production & support functions such as paint shop, Machining, tool room, ME, project, DMG.
• Implementation of SMED and SGA for rejection reduction and productivity improvement.
• Knowledge of TPM and safety practices on shop floor.
• Responsible for collection and share MIS data for die casting department to HOD and top management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft excel and power point presentation.

3.Qualification & Experience Required :-

• BE Mech / production with appropriate experience in die casting process.
• Knowledge of die casting trouble shooting with systematic approach.
• Overall, 9 to 12 Years of Experience.

4.Personal Characteristic:-

• Excellent Planning & Execution skills.
• Leadership to drive a team of @ 150 people including Operators.
