Job summary

Sigma Engineered Solutions is seeking a Die Casting Shift Supervisor to lead the shift and deliver on QPCDSM targets. You will plan resources, monitor hourly output, and implement corrective actions to optimize production in a high-volume die casting environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with HPDC aluminum castings, CPM/Industry 4.0 projects, TPM and 5S practices, and a strong focus on safety and continuous improvement within the shift team.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/Diploma in production with 4–5 years' experience in pressure die casting.
• Experience in HPDC Aluminum Castings and Cobot/Robot/Industry 4.0 in reputed organizations.
• TPM and 5S knowledge and experience in previous role.

Responsibilities

• Shift-focused responsibility for achieving QPCDSM targets.
• Plan and allocate resources to optimize production as per plan.
• Close monitoring of hour-by-hour output and addressing issues during the shift.
• Monitor and control die casting process parameters.
• Identify and troubleshoot die casting quality defects to prevent defects at the die casting stage.
• Implement TPM and Lean management on the die casting shop floor.
• Ensure adherence to safety measures for shift personnel.
• Drive QPCDSM improvements through TPM initiatives.
• Operate Cobots/Robots and Industry 4.0 projects as needed.

Job description

Name of Position: Die casting supervisor

Job Objective

Die Casting Shift In charge - Managing all shift related activities to deliver on QPCDSM.

Key Role & Responsibilities

1. He will be responsible for his shift related QPCDSM targets.
2. Planning & allocation of resources to optimize production as per plan.
3. Close monitoring of hour-by-hour output & taking actions on issues arising during the normal working.
4. Monitoring & controlling the die casting process parameters.
5. Die casting quality defect knowledge and troubleshooting to eliminate defect at die casting stage.
6. TMP and Lean management at die casting shopfloor.
7. He has to ensure adherence to all safety measures for his shift people.
8. Improvements on QPCDSM through TPM approach.
9. Operating Knowledge of Cobot /Robot / Industry 4.0 projects.

Qualification & Experience Required

1. BE/BTech/Diploma in production- 4 to 5 years' experience in pressure die casting.
2. He must have experience in HPDC Aluminum Castings and Cobot / Robot / Industry 4.0 in reputed organizations.
3. TPM and 5S knowledge and experience in earlier organization
