Vilas Business Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking a Die Cast Die Designer to create complete 3D die cast dies and tooling assemblies using Siemens NX. The role includes core/cavity inserts, 2D drawings, BOMs, and coordination with US customers to meet milestones.

You should have 8–12 years of HPDC die design experience, strong NX/UG NX skills, and knowledge of die construction, EDM, and fits. Delivery focus and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making.
• 8-12 years of die cast die design experience preferred.
• Experience with Siemens NX / UG NX for 3D modeling, assemblies, drafting, detailing.
• Understanding HPDC die design for aluminum or zinc components.
• Knowledge of die construction, CNC machining, EDM, fits and clearances.
• Good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet delivery commitments; NA customer interactions are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Design complete 3D die cast dies and tooling assemblies using Siemens NX.
• Design core and cavity inserts, slides, side cores, ejector systems, and related die components.
• Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Understand die casting processes, part geometry, draft angles, parting lines, and tooling manufacturability.
• Ensure designs meet customer specifications and North American tooling standards.
• Incorporate engineering changes and resolve design review comments.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams and USA-based customers to meet project timelines.
• Complete assigned projects within agreed schedules and quality requirements.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making.
• 8 -12 years of relevant die cast die design experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Siemens NX / UG NX, including 3D modeling, assemblies, drafting, and detailing.
• Experience in high-pressure die casting (HPDC) die design, preferably for aluminum or zinc components.
• Knowledge of die construction, CNC machining, EDM, fits, clearances, and tool steel.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks independently and meet delivery commitments.
• Experience working with North American tooling standards and USA-based customers will be an advantage.
