Job summary

Esko Casting And Electronics in Prithla, Palwal, Haryana, India is seeking a Dy. Manager for Tool-Design to lead aluminum die casting design efforts.

You will develop and review HPDC die concepts, interpret customer drawings, and coordinate with manufacturing, tooling, quality, and production. The role requires strong knowledge of UG NX, AutoCAD, GD&T, tolerances, and design for manufacturability, with focus on tool life, cycle time, and casting quality.

Qualifications

• Aluminum Die Casting Design: HPDC processes, die construction, part design, draft, wall thickness, fillets, and parting line.
• Develop and review HPDC die designs based on customer drawings, 3D models, and specs.
• 3D die-casting designs and 2D drawings using UG NX & AutoCAD.
• Cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, tooling, quality, and production teams.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards, drawing requirements, and customer specifications.
• Interpret and prepare engineering drawings with GD&T, dimensions, tolerances and docs.
• Support die casting simulation, filling/solidification analysis, optimization.
• Manage die design reviews, validation, and engineering change implementation.
• Optimize die design for tool life, productivity, casting quality, cycle time, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Aluminum Die Casting Design: HPDC design understanding, die construction, part design, draft, thickness and fillets.
• Develop/review HPDC die designs from customer drawings and 3D models.
• Create/modify 3D die designs and 2D manufacturing drawings in UG NX and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, quality and customers to complete projects.
• Ensure designs meet applicable standards, drawing requirements and customer specs.
• Support die casting simulation, filling and solidification analyses.
• Manage design reviews, validation and engineering change implementation.
• Optimize die design for tool life, productivity, casting quality and maintenance.
